Dr. Vaidyanathan has been a medical entomologist and vector biologist since 1992. He is an expert on mosquito vector competence, pyrethroid resistance, and new product development & commercialization. Since 2007, he has worked with CROs and industry. He was most recently Director of US Programs at Oxitec and Director of Entomology at Clarke Mosquito Control. Since 2014 he has worked closely with mosquito control districts (MCDs) in the U.S. and the Republic of the Marshall Islands to optimize their control strategies.
